Good sod starts with good prep. We grade the yard so the new lawn sits flat, lay each roll with tight seams, and water everything in. The install itself takes a few hours to a day, then the sod needs about 2 to 3 weeks to settle in and start rooting. Stay off it for a few weeks while it grabs hold.
