No two Toronto yards ask for the same work. Around Trinity Bellwoods, the Victorian and Edwardian semis come with shared driveways, narrow side passages, and front gardens the size of a dining table. Further out, past St. Clair West or up the side streets off The Danforth, postwar bungalows sit on wide lots with real lawns and room to plant. A company that shows up with one standard package will get half of those yards wrong.
So we quote each yard on what’s actually there. On a tight downtown lot, that usually means small-space interlock: a walkway down the side passage, a new front path, a patio that uses every bit of the space. On a wide lot, it’s regular mowing, edging, and garden beds that keep the whole property in shape. And the design should suit the house: clean and simple for a new infill build, softer and more planted for a semi that went up before the war.
