Drive any street off the Yonge corridor and you’ll see it. A postwar bungalow, a wide front lawn, and two doors down, a new custom going up where another bungalow stood. North York is rebuild country. The lots are generous, the houses keep changing, and the yards have to keep up.

New builds are where our biggest jobs come from. Builders hand over the keys with the yard as bare graded dirt, and everything outside the walls is on you. We start with a design so the pieces go in the right order, then do the work itself: sod for the lawn, interlock for the walkways and driveway edges, and planting beds that suit the house. The yard ends up as finished as the house is.

The established streets need something simpler. Those big front lawns look great when they’re kept sharp and tired when they’re not, so weekly mowing through the season is a lot of what we do here, and you don’t need to be home for it. Jakub has run the company since it started in fall 2014. Quotes are free and visits are by appointment, so call whether you need mowing or a full yard built from the dirt up.
